From social media to news, it seems everyone has gotten good at telling us how to live. In a few articles, I can be told what to eat, which fad to follow and what dress to wear. They’re determined to give us a carbon copy life. You can get a slice of that popular life if you spend your life following all the people you’re supposed to look up to.
I decided a long time ago fad people and idols were not for me. I have learned to steer clear of what the masses tell me to do. You’ve got to expand your own thinking for the life you wish to create to get past the one they’ve created for you. I think there’s another IN crowd. It’s one less talked about but full of pioneers, leaders and achievers. It’s the crowd I follow.
If you want to be part of an IN crowd, aim for these: INspirers, INnovators, INtellectuals, INvaluable minds, INteresting people and INtriguing lives. It’s something to think about.
I love this post! 😀 And you’re so right! It’s much better to be an individual and stand out, not follow the crowd!

Thank you for reading! I agree. Easy to follow but it takes courage and a thoughtful mind to follow your own course. Have a great day!

You’re very welcome. 🙂 And you’re so right, it does take courage and many times you will arouse anger and hatred and you will be required to stand alone. Not easy at all. Wishing you a great day as well.

I missed this comment. I apologize. I agree with you entirely. If you go against the grain sometimes you incur negativity. Sometimes we must stand alone and be individual thinkers. I think it’s courageous and inspiring. Hope you’re having a nice day!
