One Thought at a Time

You’ve heard the phrase one day at a time. Have you ever tried one thought at a time?

In times of distress or anxiety, learn to take it one thought at a time. Slow down your thinking. If you’re rushing your thoughts they’re bound to spiral out of control with you.

Take time when you think. Let fear subside when you take it thought by thought. Go slow and breathe. You’ll realize you can turn a negative thought into a positive or neutral thought. It creates a tone for your mindset.

It has also been staid thoughts truly are things. Don’t take yours for granted. Learn to focus and build a positive mindset. Work your mind muscles as much as the ones in your physical body. Cultivate thoughts that serve you from minutes into days.

Thoughts are never truly fleeting. They stay with us. The more you learn to take hold of your thoughts you will have better control of your overall mind.

Keep thinking! Keep going!

Tell Fear to Take a Nap

Today I encouraged myself to do something I feared and the outcome was in my favor. How many times have you done this and been exhilarated and surprised by your good fortune?

Perhaps you’ve made that call or sent the email that got you an opportunity. It’s a simple reminder to tell fear to take a time out and take a nap.

Every once in a while feel and go through the fear anyways. Prove it wrong. Silence it. Do what you’re avoiding. You may learn fear can’t stand in your way forever. Even the fiercest lion has to take a snooze.

Long Climb Up

I don’t know about you but I’ve got a long climb up in my journey. I’m in the midst of obstacles and trying situations.

I suppose you could say I would be smart to re-evaluate my goals and dreams but I see the journey as worthwhile more so than the endgame or reward.

That’s why I titled my blog keep going motivation. I simply wanted to inspire one person to keep going because that has always been my secret to success.

In every positive outcome in my life, I have been a step, an inch or a moment away from making a decision that would deny me the success I was seconds away from.

Here I am again, starting at the bottom and looking at the long climb knowing the importance of the journey and savoring the view at the bottom while expecting an unexpected view from the top.

Wherever you are in your journey today, I personally encourage you to keep going. Enjoy the view.

Turn a no into I told you so

Be committed to I told you so in regards to your goals. In life, you’ll hear countless no’s followed by you can’t or you won’t.

Make rejection from others in regards to your dreams and goals the fuel for your life plan.

It’s not about being right. It’s about having the conviction to win your dreams through it all including the losses and failures. Make their no a casual I told you so. If you believe and keep going you will have told the most important person it’s possible- that’s you.

Minefield or Goldmine: Navigate your Thoughts

Imagine your mind as a vast space. It can be full of pitfalls or oil wells. It can be a place barren or fruitful.

Your thoughts about life can become mine fields ready to explode full of pitfalls or goldmines waiting to be discovered. How are you viewing your opportunity for living today?

Erase some of the old behavioral patterns that focus or produce negative outcomes. Instead hone in on a positive force worthy of cultivating a few goldmines.

Let your mind and thoughts be filled with sparky gold glitter instead of explosive dark holes. If the battle truly is fought in the mind, today choose a side.
