Just a reminder, you only get to be here once and your impact can be huge.
It doesn’t matter where you’re at right now in life. You don’t need to imitate others, it’s important to be yourself and create a life’s work that leaves legacy.
What you do here and how you effect the lives of others is of great importance. Never forget that truth! You only have to focus on one life- your own. Make sure the life you lead creates a positive change on many people.
Take a moment to examine your life. Simply look at your day’s events and reflect. Are you fitting into a life you want?
It’s easy to get in a routine and simply fit your way into a life but at some point it feels uncomfortable. You’ve got to build a life to your size and fit in where you desire to be.
Get back in touch with your dreams and aspirations, your personal kindness and generosity, your gratitude and blessings, strengths and weaknesses.
We live in an abundant world and you deserve abundant thoughts that shape and direct your life. If you’re just getting by and fitting into a life that’s not quite up to your dream life, remember you’re good enough right now at any point to rethink and restart.
It’s okay to be anywhere in life but take time to reflect. Don’t just make a place for yourself, find a place. Take care to gently examine your direction and place abundant thoughts within your mind as seeds of hope building and reflecting back to you the life you desire.
You’re worthy of productive and abundant thoughts. Don’t simply take up space in life. Instead with care, work with yourself and in yourself to find your place in life.
How is your day going? Is it a productive day where you’re accomplishing tasks and beginning a new project? Maybe it’s a brainstorming day. Perhaps you’re in the process of beginning a new venture or relaxing. Wherever you’re at, I encourage you to take a moment and fill up your mind.
What do I mean by fill up your mind? Your mind is an incredible machine. No matter how modern science tries to assess the mind, they simply can’t because it’s the most amazing invention that exists. Use this invention to your advantage. Fill up your mind with thoughts that advance you.
It’s easy to get lost in everything that’s going wrong. Don’t let that seep into the crevices of your mind. Fill your mind instead with positivity, prosperity, possibility and good thoughts. Replace any negative thought on your radar with something good. Repeat positive affirmations such as: I am healthy, capable and abundant.
If you spend a short amount of time today listening to the negative defeatist chatter bustling about in your mind, you’ll see the benefit of replacing those thoughts immediately. It’s absolutely free to fill up your mind with good thoughts and the benefits are good too. Get in the habit of noticing your thoughts and filling up your mind with positive life affirming thoughts.
The only thing worth filling up besides your gas tank is your mind. Neither run on empty.
At certain points in life we really have to dig in deep and become brave. It’s easy to be complacent and let fear immobilize us at times.
Being brave doesn’t require much but a little bit of change and change can feel very uncomfortable. Being brave isn’t about adapting a warrior attitude or winning battles. It’s simple a journey in which at some turning point you decide to be brave. You do something outside your comfort zone and it scares you but changes you.
If you want new results, adopt this method of bravery. Try something that will change your life in a new direction.
Remember, nothing is easy. Even sitting back and doing nothing has its price. The struggle is in the learning. The reward is the lesson. Be brave in your journey and learn from your bravery.
It can be a long lonely walk to success. It can be a short one. No one gets there if they’re not willing to walk alone.
You’ve got to be willing to go after your dreams all alone. Sometimes when we share our hopes and dreams, we meet negativity from other people. They don’t need or want us to succeed. They’re comfortable in life and don’t see a need for change. You can’t expect the support of other people.
If your dream is worth it, you’ll find a way. With or without help, two key ingredients make up a victory. Longevity and belief will get you to the finish line.
No one gets overnight success. You’ve got to be in it for the long haul. Look past the rejections and failures but don’t stop until you achieve your goal. It might take a little while longer. It might take forever. Determine you’re staying with your goal.
Next up, have solid belief in yourself. Even if no one is there to support and encourage you, act as if it’s truly possible. You may be the only support on the way to your dream.
Keep going with whatever you start. Adopt a mindset that stays on your goals. No matter the circumstances, you’ll be able to smile when you count the small victories and really marvel at your accomplishments knowing you put in everything. Every goal starts and ends with your own thinking.
Never stop exploring, investigating and receiving from this amazing world we live in.
When you stop learning, you cease to grow. You find a rut. Always educate yourself. It doesn’t mean you have to go back to school. Instead, read the philosophies and teachings of men and women of history and achievement. Learn new hobbies and skills.
The true way to evolve includes acquired and continued learning. It’s never too late to educate.
Mindfulness is an effective way to ground yourself in the moment. You can practice by using the five senses in your surroundings to ground yourself warding off anxiety or worry. How about using gratitude to ground yourself?
Instead of identifying things you can hear, smell, touch, taste or see, name five things you’re grateful to have in your life. Practicing gratitude sincerely with an open heart can reduce worry in your life.
The next time you need to take a deep breath, try naming a few things you’re grateful to have. It might pave the way for a new way of looking at life.
From social media to news, it seems everyone has gotten good at telling us how to live. In a few articles, I can be told what to eat, which fad to follow and what dress to wear. They’re determined to give us a carbon copy life. You can get a slice of that popular life if you spend your life following all the people you’re supposed to look up to.
I decided a long time ago fad people and idols were not for me. I have learned to steer clear of what the masses tell me to do. You’ve got to expand your own thinking for the life you wish to create to get past the one they’ve created for you. I think there’s another IN crowd. It’s one less talked about but full of pioneers, leaders and achievers. It’s the crowd I follow.
If you want to be part of an IN crowd, aim for these: INspirers, INnovators, INtellectuals, INvaluable minds, INteresting people and INtriguing lives. It’s something to think about.
Through the years, all of my best ideas have been born at thinking sessions. I like to hold thinking sessions of my own but I also like to bounce off ideas with someone.
I encourage you to find a brainstorming buddy. This is someone you can talk to about your ideas and brainstorm. Perhaps you have a plan for your writing or business. You’d be amazed at what someone else might be able to contribute to your existing ideas and plans.
Try to work with other people and help them with their plans too. It’s not two friends meeting for coffee and talking, it’s a major thinking meeting where your goal is to advance ideas. When we’re active in a society building together it’s a collective group of people building each other up instead of tearing each other down.
I’m going to address the fact you may have no one you feel comfortable brainstorming with. That’s okay. Never underestimate the power of putting your own own to paper and setting aside some time for a major thinking session. Together or alone plot it out, think big and let your mind do some creative work.
I built a small business on thinking sessions and I did a lot of personal writing after plotting out my work in my own scheduled thinking sessions. I encourage you to get in the habit of devoting time to think out your plans in life and then put those plans into motion. Happy thinking!
