Survive or Thrive

There are many challenges in daily living. Often these situations and tasks make us feel like we’re on nonstop survival mode. It’s important to survive but imperative you get to a place of thriving in your life.

Complaints, problems and tasks leave us feeling as though we have little time to get to a place for ourselves. Even if your time is limited, consider putting the focus and effort back on you.

When you put energy into your life, you’ll begin to see a thrive mindset develop. When you thrive, you’re able to grow and expand as an individual. You’ll find space in your mind and your heart for new paths in life.

Make time for you. When daily challenges become too much, put them on hold. Find a quiet space and a bit of time where you can repair and rebuild yourself into a position of thriving not simply surviving.

How are You Fitting Into Your Life Today?

Take a moment to examine your life. Simply look at your day’s events and reflect. Are you fitting into a life you want?

It’s easy to get in a routine and simply fit your way into a life but at some point it feels uncomfortable. You’ve got to build a life to your size and fit in where you desire to be.

Get back in touch with your dreams and aspirations, your personal kindness and generosity, your gratitude and blessings, strengths and weaknesses.

We live in an abundant world and you deserve abundant thoughts that shape and direct your life. If you’re just getting by and fitting into a life that’s not quite up to your dream life, remember you’re good enough right now at any point to rethink and restart.

It’s okay to be anywhere in life but take time to reflect. Don’t just make a place for yourself, find a place. Take care to gently examine your direction and place abundant thoughts within your mind as seeds of hope building and reflecting back to you the life you desire.

You’re worthy of productive and abundant thoughts. Don’t simply take up space in life. Instead with care, work with yourself and in yourself to find your place in life.

The Sky Shows Up

The sky shows up everyday. It never really knows if it will be sunny, cloudy, raining or snowing. It’s an incredible landscape just waiting to be painted.

Life is a bit like the sky. Sometimes it’s as simple as showing up. The outcome can be an amazing masterpiece you never expected.

Hasn’t that ever happened to you in life? You’re at a turning point or standstill and then something fantastic happens because you were in the right place at the right time. You meet someone, catch a break, enjoy an unexpected surprise or simply experience a memorable day.

Feel the emotions: the fear, anxiety, confusion, happiness, excitement for the day and show up. Being there for the successes granted us in life is the easiest ingredient of success.

Imagine the possibilities. If the sky can transform into an incredible work of art, so can you.

Rediscover Your Blessings

It’s very easy to get caught up in the difficulties of life. Take time instead to rediscover and cultivate your blessings. Even if you have few, you have many.

Do you have running water? A safe place to rest your head? A few moments of quiet to yourself? A friend? Food to eat? Can you walk? See? Simple as they may seem, someone else doesn’t have these things or abilities and someone else may have lost their life so you have freedom and privileges.

In times of worry and anxiety, rediscover your blessings. When you still your mind and keep it on things you truly can be grateful for new things can break free and enter your world. If you try to build on a crumbling foundation of your struggles, it can be shaky. Instead build on a solid foundation filled with your blessings.

We all have so much to be grateful for and if this post allows for a few minutes of gratitude, you’ll have changed the day and a little bit of the world by changing your thinking. If you practice gratitude already, you know the benefits reach far greater than yourself.

Live to Learn

Life is a series of lessons. The same can be said of success. It’s not easy when you don’t have a manual, guide book or teacher. Sometimes you simply have to show up and let life guide you to learn from it.

Never be so afraid to learn from life that you neglect to live. It’s imperative you pay close attention and align your goals and direction in accordance with a few of life’s lessons.

Don’t get stuck on failure. There is no real difference in life lessons between an A and a F just a perceived difference. The final grade doesn’t matter most of the time. Showing up for class matters all of the time.

If you have no teacher, learn the lessons to the best of your ability. If you’re fortunate to have a mentor, appreciate the time they put into your life.

Never spend too long focusing on the should haves and would haves, you aren’t meant to be perfect or you’d have all the answers from the beginning. Keep going and living to learn. Whether a new subject or language, the act of learning assists you in life.

Whether you’ve recently learned the hard way or not, adjust your sails and stay on course. Develop a passion for living and you will find a clear cut passion in life that leads to success. Share your zest for life with others. Determine your direction and let the subtle lessons we learn here help strengthen your course. Never let one or many defeats completely stop you in your tracks.

Keep learning and going after life, even if you simply live for your goals. Be accepting of failures, rejections and tough terrain. They teach us. Be surprised and grateful for blessings and success. Life is a journey best traveled by living for its marvelous and wondrous teachings.

Explore or Expire

Never stop exploring, investigating and receiving from this amazing world we live in.

When you stop learning, you cease to grow. You find a rut. Always educate yourself. It doesn’t mean you have to go back to school. Instead, read the philosophies and teachings of men and women of history and achievement. Learn new hobbies and skills.

The true way to evolve includes acquired and continued learning. It’s never too late to educate.
