Don’t Delay Your Destiny

I believe we all have a destiny. It’s not simply for a select few. There’s no one in this world like you and your energy and presence in this world is of immense importance.

I wanted to share this grand view with you today. You’re life should be an epic exciting adventure. If you haven’t found your passion for life or what makes you tick, take a few minutes today and assess your life. Determine your strengths and weaknesses and outline your course.

There’s truly no time to waste. Everyday is a gift. Realize this incredible truth. You were put here to do great things. I hope this message encourages you to reevaluate your life. Any and every level of hard earned success is a destiny. Seize yours!

A Journey in Bravery

At certain points in life we really have to dig in deep and become brave. It’s easy to be complacent and let fear immobilize us at times.

Being brave doesn’t require much but a little bit of change and change can feel very uncomfortable. Being brave isn’t about adapting a warrior attitude or winning battles. It’s simple a journey in which at some turning point you decide to be brave. You do something outside your comfort zone and it scares you but changes you.

If you want new results, adopt this method of bravery. Try something that will change your life in a new direction.

Remember, nothing is easy. Even sitting back and doing nothing has its price. The struggle is in the learning. The reward is the lesson. Be brave in your journey and learn from your bravery.

Be Willing to Walk Alone

It can be a long lonely walk to success. It can be a short one. No one gets there if they’re not willing to walk alone.

You’ve got to be willing to go after your dreams all alone. Sometimes when we share our hopes and dreams, we meet negativity from other people. They don’t need or want us to succeed. They’re comfortable in life and don’t see a need for change. You can’t expect the support of other people.

If your dream is worth it, you’ll find a way. With or without help, two key ingredients make up a victory. Longevity and belief will get you to the finish line.

No one gets overnight success. You’ve got to be in it for the long haul. Look past the rejections and failures but don’t stop until you achieve your goal. It might take a little while longer. It might take forever. Determine you’re staying with your goal.

Next up, have solid belief in yourself. Even if no one is there to support and encourage you, act as if it’s truly possible. You may be the only support on the way to your dream.

Keep going with whatever you start. Adopt a mindset that stays on your goals. No matter the circumstances, you’ll be able to smile when you count the small victories and really marvel at your accomplishments knowing you put in everything. Every goal starts and ends with your own thinking.

Don’t Let Doubt and Fear Keep You from Trying

Doubt and fear are the two enemies you can’t afford to rob you. Never let doubt or fear keep you from trying.

They say you have nothing to lose by trying and I believe that’s partly true. When you try, you lose only your own doubts. Even if you get nothing in return, you’ll have accomplished something unexpected. You’ll have surprised yourself by stepping out of unfamiliar territory and attempting something new.

Unfortunately, fear and doubt stop us from even starting. Overwhelming beliefs we’re not good enough, unskilled or unable can literally stop us in our tracks. Don’t let this be your story.

In order to find your true path, you must learn to search within yourself and erase doubt and fear. If the life you’re currently living isn’t what you truly envision for yourself, then you must build up your confidence.

Doubt and fear will weigh you down. Keep them in check. It’s not easy. Once you see how these feelings operate to keep you stagnant, you might want to feel the fear but try anyways. Erase the doubt and fear chatter in your mind for a minute and see what might be possible and go for it.

Stray from a Mass Manufactured Life

In order to achieve real lasting success you have a definitive choice in life. You can allow your life to be directed by popular role models but you may find your life is robbed. If you copy someone else’s life you are eventually living their life not yours in some manner. While role models are good, sometimes they’re only good at modeling a life- their own.

Instead, you must opt to find your own path. Seek it out and create a life of your own design. Think your way to a new life. Only you can do that and what excitement, wonder, greatness and passion it can bring to you and the whole world when you make this choice.

Real lasting success begins by building a life and straying from a mass manufactured life filled with following people, the latest trends and fads.

Let not your own life be robbed by living a carbon copy lifestyle. Be bold and brave and design a real life free from emulation that defines and changes the world. Take back your power from mass ideas and let your individualism shine and inspire others.

The Other IN Crowd

From social media to news, it seems everyone has gotten good at telling us how to live. In a few articles, I can be told what to eat, which fad to follow and what dress to wear. They’re determined to give us a carbon copy life. You can get a slice of that popular life if you spend your life following all the people you’re supposed to look up to.

I decided a long time ago fad people and idols were not for me. I have learned to steer clear of what the masses tell me to do. You’ve got to expand your own thinking for the life you wish to create to get past the one they’ve created for you. I think there’s another IN crowd. It’s one less talked about but full of pioneers, leaders and achievers. It’s the crowd I follow.

If you want to be part of an IN crowd, aim for these: INspirers, INnovators, INtellectuals, INvaluable minds, INteresting people and INtriguing lives. It’s something to think about.

Find a Brainstorming Buddy

Through the years, all of my best ideas have been born at thinking sessions. I like to hold thinking sessions of my own but I also like to bounce off ideas with someone.

I encourage you to find a brainstorming buddy. This is someone you can talk to about your ideas and brainstorm. Perhaps you have a plan for your writing or business. You’d be amazed at what someone else might be able to contribute to your existing ideas and plans.

Try to work with other people and help them with their plans too. It’s not two friends meeting for coffee and talking, it’s a major thinking meeting where your goal is to advance ideas. When we’re active in a society building together it’s a collective group of people building each other up instead of tearing each other down.

I’m going to address the fact you may have no one you feel comfortable brainstorming with. That’s okay. Never underestimate the power of putting your own own to paper and setting aside some time for a major thinking session. Together or alone plot it out, think big and let your mind do some creative work.

I built a small business on thinking sessions and I did a lot of personal writing after plotting out my work in my own scheduled thinking sessions. I encourage you to get in the habit of devoting time to think out your plans in life and then put those plans into motion. Happy thinking!

Adopt a Mental Work Out

Most of us already have a fitness program in place. How about a mental fitness program? Adopt a mental work out. Find your strengths and build them up. Discover your weaknesses and work on those.

We spend so much time and effort creating physical muscle, we often forget to train the mind as well. Find things you love to do that inspire your mental and creative activity.

You must consider the positive benefits of working on your mind as much as your body. Your body will carry you from place to place but your own mind can build, shape and carry you to your destiny.

Make it a Practice to Motivate Yourself

At the end of the day or even the beginning perhaps there’s just you left to motivate yourself. There’s nothing wrong about not having fifty people to motivate you. In fact, the best lesson is to practice motivating yourself.

Maybe you’ve reached the end of a long journey for a goal and ended up empty handed. You can never entirely wear out a dream or goal and it’s okay to let it go. Only you can wear out and sometimes this may happen when you’re working so hard to achieve your goal.

It’s okay to say it couldn’t be done but don’t give up on yourself. It’s time to motivate yourself. You’re not done yet. Move on quickly and find a new goal or dream. Always motivate yourself even when you win and especially when you lose.
